“I ordered a cake from Vaunes for my husband’s 70th birthday. We have a number of gluten and dairy intolerant members of the family and one who is coeliac and they offer this. Unfortunately, when I ordered from overseas I gave the owner Siobhan the wrong date.
I contacted her the day before we needed the cake when I realised what I had done. She was so generous and kind and offered to make me a cake that day ready for the next. She did an amazing job with the cake, it exceeded my expectations. It was extremely creative and looked amazing.. The cake tasted better than any other gluten-free, dairy free cake that I have eaten before and I have eaten many. My family agreed that it was absolutely delicious and the macarons were so good. They melted in our mouth but also were crunchy on the outside. Absolutely perfect.!!

“I have ordered from Vaunes a few times – some treat boxes, some Mother’s Day cookies and then my 40th birthday cake. The treats and cookies were amazing, but the cake, well the cake was just incredible! Not only did it look spectacular, but I also lost count of how many people told me it was the best cake they’ve ever eaten (Caramilk mud cake). I should add that I am not Coeliac but quite a few of my friends are which is why I often choose gluten free options, but no one even realised the cake was gluten free (except the people who needed to know).”
